I solved the problem of the e-mail address being seen in OO as a URL. I re-created the whole letter template and put the letterhead in a header on that first page. Woo-woo! It works! Now I set up another style as letter-second-page and that'll have a different header on it. Gee! That only wasted about an hour or two today. Rich
