[PLUG] Postfix "Deferred"

I recently began running a postfix log analyzer, and this raises
questions.... :)
Part of the analysis is this:
/etc/cron.daily/0postfix-log:
Postfix log summaries for Aug 8
Grand Totals
------------
messages
480 received
405 delivered
30 forwarded
60 deferred (1016 deferrals)
45 bounced
98 rejected
The deferred total keeps going up. Yesterday is was around 960. The day
before, 850 or so. I look farther in the analysis, and I see a list of the
deferrals, and almost all are spamhouses that don't accept inbound mail, so
they get "Connection Refused".
Is this just the price I pay for rejecting spam?
Is there a way to see what's in the queue and flush it manually if there's
nothing important there? I've looked through the postfix, qmgr and flush
man pages, and I didn't see anything there that looked like a userspace
command.
Thanks in advance.

There are two types of enumerations: correct ones, that state what they are
about to enumerate and then contain the correct number of items.
