I am trying to take on old Pentium 100 (NEC) running Win 95a and put Red Hat
7.1 on it in a dual boot configuration. The CD ROM isn't bootable, so I'm using
a "disk driver" to get the ball rolling.
The CD start whirring and the intstalll appears to be going down, but after
a couple of minutes I get the following:
"...waiting for X servre....
Gdk - error ** Fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X servre :1
install exited abnormally
sending termination signals
sending kill signals
disabling swap
unmounting filesystems
/mnt runtime
..."
Any ideas what might be happening?
Thanks again in advance Linux community.....
