I guess I should add my two shekels since it was my off-list reply to
Patrick which found its way (in part) back to the list after I shared it
with others as concerned with security and identity as am I. If you use a
"mixed" environment, then that surely includes a web browser and a news
reader - both of which can be used to access the list, perhaps with less
annoying behavior than your chosen MUA.

I won't bother repeating the distinction between popular and broken, but I
will say the math is flawed. Of 2841 posts since 01 August 2002, 78 were GPG
signed. 78 in 4 months. The most for any single day was 5 (two occurrences).

I'll be happy to post to the list the entire email I sent you off-list if
you'd like me to share it, Patrick. I think my tone was quite reasonable,
and I did offer you helpful suggestions - advice you have chosen to ignore.
