You are arguing something entirely different, which I answered in
plug-talk. He claimed it didn't take much longer, I proved (by my own
travel times) that it DOES in fact, take much longer to travel, using
public transit.

There are freaky people on the train, nearly every day. The drunk that
sat next to me Wednesday at 8:30 am and pulled two beers from his jacket
is one example. He was already drunk and smelled of stale beer, at 8:30
am. And I'm NOT basing my opinion that he was drunk based on the fact
that he pulled two beers from his pocket. He was stumbling drunk.

I'm NOT, however, speaking of the kids I spoke with on the train today.
Three young people, one skate boarder, one girl with dreds, and one girl
with really short hair, got on the train. You should have seen the looks
people gave them. I joined in their conversation, had a nice chat, and
got a cheery "Have a nice day!" from them when they got off. I don't
believe in judging a book by it's cover.

However, that doesn't change the fact that my travel time is WAY up when
compared to driving. Nearly double. Jeme says 23 minutes (or something
like that). Well, that's nearly 50% of 53 minutes. When we're talking an
hour, 23 minutes is close enough to 50%.
