[PLUG] flickering monitor advice -- resolved

Well I've worked around the flickering monitor issue - it did turn out
to be the coffee pot.  I now brew the coffee and pour it into an airpot
that keeps it warm and after turning off the coffee pot no more
flickering occurs.
