support of research in healthcare. The first year of this position is
funded to support novel work in the area of using knowledge-based systems
to organize and intelligently "recommend" content for patients following
their clinical visit.

Systems Analyst, Senior

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least 7 years' proven analytical and design
work experience in information science. Systems development principles;
database theory and application; computer architecture and operating
systems principles; computer operations and documentation principles; data
management principles; accomplished inter-personal, oral, and written
communication skills; demonstrated aptitude for self-motivation. 3-5
years' end-user contact skill and experience. 2-4 years' project lead
skill and experience. 5 years' experience in Java. 5-10 years' experience
in UNIX/LINUX. 3-5 years' expertise in XML and tools associate with XML.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in computer science or other
science, in some humanities or in a research-related field. Experience
with J2EE. Thorough to comprehensive knowledge, skill and experience with
the following: applications development support for investigative research
study design utilizing artificial intelligence techniques and
knowledge-based systems. Thorough knowledge and skill with the following:
structured analysis, design and implementation tools and techniques;
relational database theory; information modeling; data
modeling/normalization techniques. Object-oriented principles;
prototyping/development with visual programming tools and techniques;
version control and configuration management principles; documentation
tools and techniques; project control tools and techniques; presentation
tools and techniques; software re-usability principles and techniques;
utility design and development; statistical analysis/mathematics; high
level language(s); PC/Windows/networking; distributed computing and
Client/Server principles; Internet programming principles.

Starting Salary Range: $29.93 - $39.03 per hour
