I've used the keyboard's programming, xmodmaps and loadkeys. And most of
the markings on the keys are pretty well worn off by now. I guess that 5-6
years of use is long for a keyboard.
The Happy Hacking 2 keyboard is attactive, but it's still rather pricey.
