hmm, dpkg -l mozilla returns

ii  mozilla        1.0.0-0.woody. Mozilla Web Browser - dummy package

I don't know what is in your sources.list file but if they're not there, try 
adding some of the following.

deb ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ woody main non-free contrib
deb ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ woody-proposed-updates main non-free 
contribdeb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US woody non-US/main 
non-US/contrib non-US/non-free
