I hope not. The list view was better.  (I tend to use text mode though.
The gui install failed, so i had to do it that way anyways...

I still use fdisk.  (I don't need much else when building a laptop.)

I need to dig into the installer more.

I need to find a good overview of how GRUB is supposed to work.  The
commands are a bit alien to me.

I use the Slackware install disc for that. ]:>

I am finding a few other odd quirks here and there.  Not too much that
is difficult.  Of course, most of what I have installed since that point
has been source.  (I need to build new RPMs for the latest libpcap.)
