[PLUG] Change monitor - how to start text mode at start

You can do a <CTRL>-<ALT<-<F1> to get to a text console, login and root
and then place the system into runlevel 3 by running the command:
"init 3".
You can also edit your systems /etc/inittab file and change the default
runlevel. You should see a line similar to below. Change the 5 to a 3
and your system will default to runlevel 3 rather than 5:
# default runlevel
id:5:initdefault:
