For what it's worth, as far as I can tell "hibernate" works well for me
on my 2.4.18-6mdk kernel on my Sony Z505, it even picks up the
Fn-hibernate keypress.  As I use it *ALL* the time, is there some
drawback to what mandrake is doing vs. the latest/greatest dev kernel?
