[PLUG] killing a process that doesn't want to die

Based on this information I cannot fathom why `top' is showing only one
process. If you connecting remotely with a Windows box it is likely the
telnet client is not updating the screen information correctly.
I can see a few processes here that are causing a problem. Assuming the
processes are still the same, perform the following:
# kill -9 22391
Also, I note that you have several smb daemons running. Restart them as
root:
# /etc/init.d/smb restart
