I happen to like the idea of making the list subscriber only (for a
number of reasons, the most important being spam, but the "please CC me
as I'm not subscribed" gets on my nerves occasionally as well).  But the
reason I actually wrote this email was to correct the above paragraph:
BofA (and in fact, any bank/financial institution) can (as of a short
while ago) and probably do, sell your information and you DO have to
send them written notice if you don't want them to be able to do so.
