Just saw in CompUSA's ad today that there is an SMC 8-port 10/100
switch, and one more Gigabit Ethernet port for a total of 9 ports for
$99 after rebates. Plus they had an SMC 10/100/1000 NIC for $49 after
rebates.
Off the topic, they had a 802.11b wireless router/AP for $99 and a
PCMCIA 802.llb NIC for I think $79. And the 802.11A AP was under $200!
