If you want to use openssh 3.3 and the privilege seperation option
(which, according to Theo De Raadt, you do) with a linux 2.2 kernel,
then you need to apply the attached patch from Solar Designer, the
maintainer of the Openwall linux distribution. If you don't apply the
patch, you get the quoted mmap error when running openssh 3.3 on a 2.2
kernel.

The privilege seperation option is a nice piece of work.
