As a follow up. I am able to browse via ip, so it's obviously a dns
issue. Does linux have the ability to get dns information dynamically?

I recently obtained a router to connect to my ATT Cable modem. My Linux
machine can see my router and I can configure in there. The Ethernet
card is set use DHCP but I cannot browse the Internet. Any ideas? I've
tried setting up a static IP within the router's network, but that did
not work.
