As a follow up.  I am able to browse via ip, so it's obviously a dns
issue.  Does linux have the ability to get dns information dynamically?

I recently obtained a router to connect to my ATT Cable modem.  My Linux
machine can see my router and I can configure in there.  The Ethernet
card is set use DHCP but I cannot browse the Internet.  Any ideas?  I've
tried setting up a static IP within the router's network, but that did
not work.
