[PLUG] Poetic justice? Use of MS joystick/mouse hardware in Linux

My MS wheel mouse runs GREAT with no tweaking under RH 7.2. It was
autodetected and worked out of the box.

I'm not much of a joystick guy, though.

Subject: [PLUG] Poetic justice? Use of MS joystick/mouse hardware in Linux

I have a couple of pieces of hardware that rock under Win of course,
but since I want to run this box in Linux most of the time, has anyone
been able to get the late-model Sidewinder joysticks or wheel mice to work?

I have a Sidewinder Precision 2 joystick and a Microsoft Laser Mouse
(with the wheel)

Greg
