 :: or something equally silly.  How would you ever figure it out ?

W/in emacs-21 do:

C-h i  m em<RET> s tool.*bar

That will get you to all occurrences of "tool-bar", "toolbar", or "tool bar".

So even if some un-enlightened soul called the command "tl-br", the phrase
"tool.*bar" would still certainly appear in the docs, from which
you would discover the command.

C-h i  m em<RET>  is your friend.
