Why can I ping one box in my home network, yet not successfully ping back to the first box? -Will,-------------------------- The machine that pings successfully is running; UP BROADCAST RUNNING, whereas the box that won't ping is ;UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST. Would this make a difference? Dirk
