  I see, too, that there are packages for apache-1.3.x but tarballs for
httpd-2.0.35. I've downloaded a couple of tarballs for the latter (one's
supposed to be specific to RH 7.2 so I probably won't use it).

  Well, here's more for my to-do list. :-)
