Have you tried the obvious to confirm this assumption, changing the host
name back and trying to run WP?  Also, if I remember your previous
postings correctly, you really shouldn't be including the domain name in
your local computer's actual hostname when you set it, as this may cause
more problems than it solves (such as ending up with the domain name
attached twice when referencing the computer and causing DNS lookup
failures).
