  After they bought Wizard C in 1986 and turned it into Turbo C in 1987 to
join Turbo Pascal they went downhill. They changed their name, tried to
re-invent themselves, got lost in the tall grass and then tried to jump on
the linux bandwagon. I think they missed and fell under the wheels.
