I'm on 2.4.18-4. FWIW, I didn't have this problem on the 2.4.9-31
kernel. Related? Who knows...
I'm able to do mt status on my drive, but anything else (mt rewind, mt
offline, etc) hangs.
The tape drive is an HP-branded Travan-4 hanging off an adaptec 2940.
