If you are running GNOME, try going to:
Settings > Document Handlers > Default Applications 
and in there go to the "Web Browser" tab and it lets you tell it which
browser to use as the default GNOME one (which i think is what Evolution
uses).  If you for some reason don't have that menu or something, the
actual program that it runs is "default-application-properties-capplet".
