  You can go get a copy of CUPS for free at <http://www.easysw.com>. I
bought their PrintPro package for the drivers, particularly the driver for
my HP DeskJet 2500C. I've no complaints, but after 90 days they charge a
bundle of money for any sort of support at all. Including e-mail. That's the
only drawback to the company from my perspective.

  I like CUPS for it solved a network printing problem we had. Their drivers
allow the LaserJet 5 and DeskJet 2500C to print as well in linux as they
could under Windows. But, paying $250 for support when WordPerfect decided
it didn't want to recognize the printers any longer removes any endorsements
I might have made for them in the future.
