Yup -- both in aumix, and KMix (I'm using KDE as my GUI), the digital
out in question is at 95% max volume -- the thing that clued me in that
it was running off the analog out is that KSCD(the KDE cdplayer)'s
volume control directly changed the analog cd volume in the mixer...
