I think there's quite a difference between gratuitous offensive language intended 
to insult and offend and a “clean” list.

I certainly did not intend to offend _you_.

I’m asking for responsible use of language that helps us meet our stated goal.

I’m not intending to dictate the language of people actually providing help on 
the list.
