I installed RH 8.0 on my daughter's new Amptron. She is set up for dialup and she uses the KDE kppp GUI.I chmod u+x for /usr/bin/kppp and /usr/sbin/kppp and her GUI worked for a short while and now asks for the root password again.Why would this happen? Dirk
