[PLUG] Motherboard advice

I'm having problems with the motherboard on one of my systems and
I'm planning to go to Fry's this weekend and buy a new one. I'm
poor right now, so it will be whatever is the current low-end for
ATX form factor boards. (The one it's replacing is a PII, so I
doubt if I can buy anything that won't be a big improvemnt.)

I'd appreciate any advice on specific boards that are known to either
have problems, or known to work well (linux wise) or if someone can
point me to a place that has that kind of info.
