Looks to me like several mail log rotation problems have been solved.
Except for mine. :-(

As yesterday, logrotate.d sends me a message reading that it ran at 4:13
this morning, but the maillog hasn't been rotated since I did so manually
four days ago.

Do I need to creat a cron job to have /var/log/maillog rotated daily?
While I suppose this kludge would work, it misses the point that something
is not right despite the files _appearing_ to all be proper.

What do I do to diagnose/test this further? The suggestins made so far
have been found to not apply here, but they've helped Alan with his problem.
Now I'd like to fix the one here.

Thanks,

Rich
