The differing timestamps suggest that /home and /mnt/hda5 aren't the
same filesystem. The lack of a lost+found directory in /home suggests
that it's part of the root (/) filesystem, while /mnt/hda5 is a
separate partition.

What's the output of 'mount' without any arguments?
