[PLUG] USB hard drive with Linux?

Everything you did is what I did. I've tried a similar setup and finally
switched to a firewire drive. I can run a cdrom from the USB box fine but a
hard drive will time out on large file operations. I did get the drive to
format but was unable to copy much to it without the drive locking up.

I tried the box in a USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 port on the Linux with the same
results. I couldn't get the box to work on a Win2k, with USB 1.1, box either.

Thank you
Russell
