[PLUG] ctime and lunatics

Except when you modify the contents of the file, you are modifying file
properties. The size, mtime and inode will all possibly change upon
a modification of the content of the file. 

As far as other file systems, which ones? I've looked on solaris, linux
and hp-ux, and all say that ctime is what I said previously. Everything
I've found so far says that this is a POSIX standard, and that all
systems that are POSIX compliant have to follow this. That would include
the three I've listed above, plus AIX, Tru64, the BSDs and many others.
