[PLUG] Samba + Windows question: can act as admin locally, but not when logged into the domain

I've setup the veritas UNIX agent on a linux box before, works like a
charm. The password mechanisms for it are separate from the domain stuff
so it should work for you. Under Veritas on windows the box will show up
as a UNIX agent (once you have it running as a daemon on the Linux
server), you specify the password and voila you're in to back up your
Linux box.

You can get the client off of the Veritas Install CD or on their web site.
