[PLUG] Samba and Windows - 'nother issue - slow browsing

Take a look at what is happening on the server, ie uptime , top, netstat -i
/dev/ethX, hdparm -v /dev/hdX (if you have ide drives ), .... to see if the
problem is box related. Samba related issues, nmblookup -S server, compare
nmblookup times to nslookup, smbclient -L server, use netview on a windows
box,...
Take a look at what is happening on the network with iptraf, or ntop. use
ethereal to get packet data.
