[PLUG] SAMBA 2.0.? and WinXP

I have sudden need to know if WinXP will work with an older version of 
SAMBA.  Short story is the company I worked for two plus years ago has 
bitten the bullet and a company they supported needs to get this machine 
working on the network.  The SAMBA is doing file and printer sharing with 
pretty low security set up.  I don't know for sure what has been done 
since I left so I'm assuming it is still RHL 6.x and SAMBA 2.0.5+.

Anyone mixed these two together?
