   That would work under normal circumstances. However, once I get
everything else working again, I'll build the 2.4.19 kernel and test it
before making it the default. I need time to select the kernel to use for
booting.

  Besides all this, pressing the [Enter] key isn't a bother and the machines
are up 24/7/365 anyway. Except during major upgrades, of course.
