[PLUG] newbie question

For full control over those network issues you'll need to edit:

	/etc/hosts
	/etc/resolv.conf
	/etc/sysconfig/network

Or use a tool like linuxconf or webmin. You can also browse the utilities
and system menus and look for something like network. For instance in a KDE
system you could click on the K logo -> system -> network configuration.

Keep in mind that even after making those changes if DNS does not list
web.exsolv.com the world won't be able to find your webserver.

Thx for your response Carla.
Clarifying question. how do I change the hostname and domain name after
installing RH? I have a registered name, exsolv.com and I set up my
host/domain name using web.mydomain.com and from what I understand from your
post it should of been web.exsolv.com.
thx
