  Agreed. FORTRAN was my first computer language: WATFOR, WATFIV and the -G
and -H compilers on IBM OS/360. Hollerith cards and 029 keypunch anyone?

  I've not looked because I'm not interested -- now -- in tweaking or
modifying SWAT code, but I believe there's a GNU fortran90 compiler called
'f90'.
