You are off by an order of magnitude...

Yes, that's right, Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS runs for, take a deep
breath, $1500. Or $2500 for the "premium" version.

And even the "standard" version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES is a
killer: $800.

Only when you get down to the "basic" version, or the client versions,
do you find prices in the "couple hundred bucks" range.
