[PLUG] Apache Questions

This is actually a project for school, so my friend has control over the DNS 
server and tables.  I just thought that it was possible for 
subdomain.domain.com to be sent to the domain.com entry and have apache do 
the thinking of where to find the page.

Just trying to find a shortcut of some kind :-D  Thanks to all for their 
responses, I have learned a lot from this thread and the others I have seen 
over the months.  Thanks agian guys.
