There is an equivalent. It's called Jail (and upcoming Jail NG). There
is a fairly old article about it here:
http://www.samag.com/documents/s=1151/sam0105d/0105d.htm . Keep in mind
that since it's fairly old, some stuff may be slightly different now...
but it's a good overview article.

You could probably find more recent information. However, it works
REALLY well.

Does xBSD have the equivalent of Linux UML?

I find UMLs exceptionally useful and, frequently, that
would dictate my choice.
