I'm able to select media size, media type, and resolution; as well as
scale the image, and adjust the image settings -- including a button for
adjusting the color.  I think I just doubled the saturation (from 1 to
2) and it made a huge difference.

The highest resolution available is 600x600 DPI.  This does glossy
prints that look pretty good.
