[PLUG] Getting ssh working again

To continue from last evening, I went through /usr/local/etc/sshd_config
and /usr/local/etc/ssh_config on the "host" (the workstation to which I want
to connect via ssh from my notebook). I also went through
/usr/local/etc/ssh_config on the notebook.

Then I ran 'ssh-keygen' on both, creating the DSA key pairs on the
notebook and re-creating them on the workstation. I tried to use scp to copy
the public key from the notebook to the workstation, but nothing happens
until I use ^c to get the shell prompt back.

Next I tried 'ssh -vvv salmo' from the notebook and saw that it was trying
to connect to my external IP address's port 22. Aha! Thar lies the problem.

When I'm out of the office I want to dial into my shell account at my ISP
then ssh into my network. But, when I'm here in the office with the notebook
connected to the ethernet lan, I want to use the internal IP addresses.

Where are these addresses stored, and do I need to change them manually
depending on location?

TIA,

Rich
