Josh,

  Postfix supports pop-before-smtp. There have been several threads on this
on the postfix-users mail list. I've not read any of the messages, but the
postfix Web site probably has details. Or the mail list archives.

  This MTA is very easy to set up and it is a drop-in replacement for
sendmail.
