I might as well complete the threadjack and ask if people know any other
good resources for finding jobs online . . .
I heard the PDX area had the highest number of unemployed folks in the tech
sector in the nation, I know several people with BS degrees, ccnas, ccies,
etc who are making $15 an hour or some equally pitiful amount, so I'm not
exactly too optimistic about what I can get.

If you want to feel a bit more bitter, check out the oregon employment
department's website and compare the amount of managerial positions to
computer related ones. Then feel better when you see what they are getting
"paid".
Oh well, at least I have spare time to play tux racer and program my pocket
pc . . .

The situation locally is not much better or worse than the situation
nationwide, I've been looking (for more than a year). The stuff on
userfriendly are links to Dice, one of several on-line job sites (not
the best one IMHO).  I would hope that anybody looking for a job is
using every resource including dice.
