I think this is a false analogy.  A better one might be calling up the
Police Department and asking is it a good for the officer to have left
the car idling at the curb and what, if any, safegards are there to keep
some fool from jumping in th ecar and taking it for a joyride.  Or for
checking out the car and the situation to see what I though might be
protecting this resource.
