[PLUG] OT:Intenet connection speed

I do have a fractional T1.  Also serving our phone system.  Do you
suppose Squid would be an option to speed up the general web
experience?  My experience with proxy servers is that they are always
suspects in troubleshooting exercices.  not exactly confidence
building stuff, you know.
