Right, except it wasn't a Hindu. It was from a Bashgali Kafir (from a
region of Afghanistan) phrase book. "Hindu Kush" apparently means
something like a place where you slaughter Hindus. They evidently
weren't getting along over there for some reason when they named the
place.
